Job Description:
Cargills, a key player in Sri Lanka’s economy with over 180 years of heritage, is seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales Executive to represent our FMCG brands in the retail sector. You will be responsible for driving product visibility and sales in Cargills Food City outlets across assigned regions, maintaining strong relationships with outlet teams, and ensuring compliance with brand standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain in-store displays according to brand planograms.
Drive sales growth by meeting and exceeding set targets.
Use Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) effectively to enhance product visibility.
Collaborate with outlet managers and category heads to ensure product availability.
Monitor market trends, competitor actions, and customer preferences.
Submit regular performance reports and market updates.
Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements:

Professional qualification from SLIM or a relevant higher national diploma preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in Modern Trade sales, ideally in FMCG or food industry.
Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English; Tamil is a plus.
Competent in MS Office and Microsoft 365.
Excellent negotiation, pitching, and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical thinking with decision-making confidence.
Target-oriented and adaptable to dynamic work environments.
Willing to travel extensively across assigned regions.
