Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Quality Assurance Executive to join our Dairy Division. You will be responsible for ensuring product safety, quality, and compliance through laboratory testing, process inspections, and quality improvement initiatives. This role plays a key part in maintaining our high standards in food production and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct chemical, microbiological, organoleptic, and physical testing of dairy products.
- Inspect production processes to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
- Maintain laboratory systems including equipment, records, and reference samples.
- Collaborate with QA Manager to analyze feedback and drive product improvements.
- Carry out competitor and market analysis to support product innovation.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformities through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure hygiene standards in the lab and factory.
- Coordinate external lab testing as required.
- Implement waste reduction strategies in lab and production areas.
- Support and conduct staff training programs in QA and food safety.
- Report any quality, safety, or environmental concerns to management.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, QMS, and regulatory standards.
Candidate Profile
- Education:
- B.Sc. in Food Science, Food Technology, Agriculture, Bioscience, Microbiology, or Chemistry.
- Or Higher National Diploma with 5+ years relevant experience.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in food/beverage QA, preferably dairy.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, QMS, and food safety.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Microbiological testing and sensory evaluation.
- Proficiency in QA software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Location: Must be willing to work from our Banduragoda Dairy Factory.
