Contractors Direct is not just a search portal; we are a high-tech due-diligence engine for the renovation industry. We pre-qualify contractors through a rigorous 3-phase process, ensuring only the top 30% make the cut. In this role, you will work directly under our Senior Web Developer to build “Digital Real Estate”—optimizing our WordPress core while architecting the n8n automation workflows that connect our CRM, contractors, and clients. Your Technical & Automation Mission

Web Development & Platform Maintenance

• Frontend Mastery: Develop and maintain responsive, SEO-optimized web assets using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript .

• WordPress Engineering: Assist in managing custom themes and plugins, ensuring high performance and accessibility across our renovation portal.

• UI/UX Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve functional issues, translating wireframes into polished, interactive pages.

AI Automation & Workflow Orchestration

• n8n Integration: Build and manage complex automation workflows that sync data between our platform, HubSpot , and external APIs.

• Agentic AI: Develop AI-powered agents and voice bots to automate stakeholder communication and internal project management.

• Data Connectivity: Work with JSON/XML and APIs to ensure seamless data flow between our CRM (HubSpot), HubDB, and custom automation nodes.

HubSpot Ecosystem Optimization

• Custom Modules: Support the customization of HubSpot themes and landing pages using HubL and HubDB .

• CRM Workflows: Design solutions that improve how we track contractor due diligence and project lead nurturing.

What You Bring to Contractors Direct

• Experience: 1+ years in AI automation (n8n, Zapier) and 2+ years in WordPress development.

• Tech Stack: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP . Experience with HubSpot (HubL/HubDB) is a significant bonus.

• AI Portfolio: Demonstrated ability to build AI bots, voice agents, or system workflow optimizers.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and a “solutions-first” listener who can implement changes quickly in an informal but professional environment.
