Are you a “super-connector” who can spot the difference between an AI wrapper and a foundational breakthrough? Flexicruit Limited is seeking an exceptional Venture Scout (AI) to join a forward-thinking venture capital firm operating out of the world’s most active tech hubs.

In this role, you aren’t just looking at pitch decks; you are embedded in the code-bases and discord servers where the future is being built. Your mission is to identify the next generation of AI “unicorns,” with a specialized focus on the convergence of AI and Web3. From decentralized compute networks to AI-driven smart contracts, you will be the firm’s primary engine for high-potential deal flow. If you have the technical depth to vet an LLM architecture and the social capital to reach founders before they hit the mainstream, this is your arena.

Your Strategic & Investment Mission

Deal Flow Generation & Networking

• Ecosystem Immersion: Build and leverage an elite network of AI founders, developers, and industry influencers to identify groundbreaking projects at the pre-seed and seed stages.

• Specialized Sourcing: Actively hunt for projects where Generative AI meets Web3, such as decentralized AI training, zero-knowledge proofs for model verification, and AI agents on-chain.

• Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the firm at global conferences, hackathons, and private meetups to broaden the firm’s reach and secure competitive allocations.

Investment Evaluation & Due Diligence

• Technical Vetting: Move beyond the hype to assess the core technical capabilities of a startup’s AI stack—evaluating data moats, model efficiency, and architectural novelty.

• Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research into emerging AI trends (e.g., Small Language Models, Agentic Workflows, or Neuromorphic Computing) to validate market fit.

• Financial Assessment: Review business models and unit economics to ensure potential investments align with the firm’s risk-reward thesis.

Strategic Collaboration

• Pipeline Management: Work in tandem with the internal investment team to refine sourcing strategies and move promising deals through the pipeline.

   

• Thesis Development: Contribute to the firm’s “Investment Thesis” by providing on-the-ground insights into where the AI market is moving in real-time.

What You Bring to the Team

• Network Mastery: Proven experience building strong relationships within the AI and early-stage venture space. You likely have a “roll-o-dex” of founders and developers.

   

• Domain Expertise: Strong, contemporary knowledge of AI technologies (Transformers, RAG, RLHF) and an understanding of how they integrate with Web3/Blockchain protocols.

• Analytical Mindset: The ability to evaluate both the “bits” (technical code) and the “cents” (financial viability).

• Communication: Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills; you can navigate a developer’s den and a boardroom with equal ease.
