The UCAT is a high-pressure, high-stakes examination where strategy is just as important as knowledge. In this role, you won’t just be teaching content; you will be coaching students on time management, pattern recognition, and critical thinking. We are looking for a mentor who can demystify all five subtests—from Abstract Reasoning to Situational Judgement—and provide the “insider” tips that lead to top-decile scores. If you have a proven track record of helping students gain admission to top-tier medical schools, we want your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Instruction: Deliver comprehensive tutoring across all five UCAT subtests: Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, and Situational Judgement.

• Score Optimization: Identify individual student weaknesses and implement targeted strategies to improve accuracy and speed under timed conditions.

• Curriculum Delivery: Utilize and adapt specialized UCAT preparation materials to provide a personalized learning journey for each student.

• Performance Tracking: Monitor student progress through mock exams and drills, providing detailed, constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

• Student Motivation: Inspire and build confidence in students, helping them manage the psychological pressure associated with clinical entrance exams.

• Class Management: Maintain a dynamic and engaging learning environment, whether in a one-on-one or small-group setting.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Must hold a 4-year degree (Bachelor’s or higher).

• Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of UCAT tutoring experience is mandatory.

• Proven Results: A clear track record of helping students achieve high-percentile scores in the UCAT.

• Linguistic Skills: Exceptional English communication and interpersonal skills.

• Personal Attributes: Dynamic, motivating, and capable of managing various learning styles with ease.
