Wood PLC
Job Description: Site Turnover Engineer
Are you a systems completion expert who excels at turning “Construction Projects” into “Operating Assets”? Wood is recruiting an experienced Site Turnover Engineer to join our Engineering team in Abu Dhabi, specifically based at the Habshan Site.
In the high-stakes environment of ADNOC Gas projects, the Site Turnover Engineer is the critical link between the final bolt being tightened and the first system being energized. You will own the transition process—defining system boundaries, managing punch lists, and compiling the exhaustive dossiers required for a safe and compliant handover. Based at the Habshan facility, you will work at the heart of the UAE’s gas infrastructure, ensuring that Wood’s legacy of steady and predictable delivery remains unblemished.

Dossier Management & Quality Assurance
-
MC Certification: Manage the assembly of Mechanical Completion (MC) dossiers, including inspection reports, test records, and vendor documentation.
-
Punch List Management: Lead the categorization (Category A/B/C) and tracking of punch items, ensuring all critical issues are resolved before system handover.
-
As-Built Verification: Ensure all as-built drawings and documentation are accurate and compliant with ADNOC Gas standards and EPCM best practices.

-
Site Walkdowns: Participate in multidisciplinary system walkdowns and inspections to verify site readiness.
-
Stakeholder Interface: Act as the daily technical interface between QA/QC, Construction, Commissioning, and the Client (ADNOC).

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.
-
Core Experience: 5–8 years in Oil & Gas EPC/EPCM projects, with at least 3–5 years focused specifically on Turnover, Mechanical Completion, or Commissioning.
