Are you an ADNOC-vetted mechanical expert with a passion for offshore engineering? RCC is seeking a specialized Technical Mechanical Engineer to join our project team in Abu Dhabi. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in the high-stakes environment of Offshore and Brownfield oil and gas developments.

As a core member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for validating technical documentation and ensuring that every mechanical component aligns with the rigorous safety and quality standards of the UAE energy sector. This is a “boots-on-the-ground” technical role that requires a deep understanding of international engineering codes and the specific mandates of the ADNOC Engineering Standards (ADES) .

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Validation: Review and approve mechanical engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation for compliance with project specifications.

• Standard Compliance: Ensure all activities meet the stringent requirements of ASME, API, ASTM, and ANSI , alongside Shell DEP and ADNOC standards.

• Offshore Project Support: Drive engineering activities for brownfield and offshore assets, focusing on maintenance, upgrades, and system integration.

• Project Governance: Oversee large-scale mechanical workflows, ensuring that project milestones are met without compromising technical integrity.

• Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues arising during the execution of offshore operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Mandatory Certification: Must be ADNOC Approved (applications without this status will not be considered).

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

• Oil & Gas Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically within the Oil & Gas sector.

• Technical Mastery: Deep working knowledge of:

  • ADES (ADNOC Engineering Standards)

  • ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI

  • ISO Standards & Shell DEP

• Project Background: Proven track record in Offshore and Brownfield project environments.

• Skills: Excellent analytical ability and the resilience to work in demanding offshore settings.
