Are you an Emirati innovator with a passion for the startup ecosystem? Flat6Labs, the region’s leading seed-stage venture capital firm and accelerator, is seeking a high-energy Startup Community Lead to nurture and grow the entrepreneurial landscape in Abu Dhabi.

This is a unique remote, part-time opportunity designed for a strategic connector who lives and breathes innovation. You will act as the primary bridge between groundbreaking startups, corporate partners, and government stakeholders. Your mission is to cultivate a vibrant, self-sustaining community where founders feel supported, informed, and connected. Key Responsibilities

• Community Cultivation: Build and maintain strong relationships with startup founders, mentors, and investors within the Flat6Labs ecosystem.

• Strategic Engagement: Design and execute community-led initiatives, including workshops, networking mixers, and mentorship “office hours.”

• Event Coordination: Lead the planning and logistics for virtual and physical ecosystem events, ensuring high levels of engagement and value for participants.

• Stakeholder Relations: Act as the key point of contact for partners in Abu Dhabi, ensuring alignment with regional entrepreneurial objectives and Emiratization goals.

• Content & Communication: Manage community communication channels (newsletters, Slack, or dedicated platforms) to share resources, opportunities, and success stories.

• Support & Advocacy: Identify the needs of early-stage founders and connect them with the necessary resources, experts, or funding pathways within the network.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Nationality: This position is strictly for UAE Nationals (Family Book holders) in support of national Emiratization objectives.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Language: Full professional fluency in both Arabic and English (written and verbal) is essential.

• Experience: Proven experience in community management, event planning, or working within the startup/VC space.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, a proactive “self-starter” mindset, and the ability to manage remote workflows effectively.

• Location: While the role is remote, candidates should be based in the UAE to facilitate occasional local stakeholder meetings in Abu Dhabi.
