Are you a delivery-focused leader who thrives at the intersection of complex cloud-native engineering and high-stakes regulatory compliance? Xpoint, a trailblazer in the geolocation and online sports betting industry, is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager. While you will be based in our Dubai hub, your primary focus will be managing initiatives, stakeholders, and delivery timelines aligned with the US East Coast market.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will own the Agile execution for the platforms that ensure global gaming operators remain compliant with strict multi-state regulations. This is not a role for “task-takers”—we need an autonomous, technically sharp driver who can translate architectural requirements into structured delivery plans while keeping the CTO and VP of Engineering informed with data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Agile Delivery Leadership: Own sprint execution across multiple teams (Java backend, Frontend, QA, and DevOps). You will facilitate all ceremonies and optimize backlog refinement to ensure predictable velocity.

• Technical Roadmap Orchestration: Translate complex product requirements into milestones for cloud-native services and APIs. You must understand system design constraints to manage cross-team dependencies effectively.

• Risk & Compliance Management: Proactively identify technical and regulatory risks. In the geolocation industry, “Definition of Done” includes stringent performance, security, and compliance checkpoints.

• Metric-Driven Optimization: Track and analyze systemic delivery health using metrics like Lead Time, Cycle Time, Throughput, and Burndown.

• Stakeholder Transparency: Provide the CTO and VP of Engineering with “decision-ready” visibility. You are responsible for maintaining delivery dashboards, risk logs, and executive summaries.

• Release & Ops Coordination: Partner with DevOps/SRE to align CI/CD pipelines, observability requirements, and production rollout plans.

Your Technical Environment

• Architecture: Cloud-native Java microservices and high-scale APIs.

• Platforms: Geolocation and regulatory compliance engines.

• Methodology: Advanced Agile/Scrum with a focus on DORA metrics (Lead time for changes, Change failure rate, etc.).

• Tooling: Jira, Confluence, and modern observability/monitoring stacks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience: 6+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, specifically leading cloud-native software initiatives.

• Agile Expertise: Deep mastery of Scrum/Kanban and experience scaling Agile practices in a fast-growth environment.

• Time Zone Flexibility: Ability to work hybrid in Dubai while maintaining significant overlap and availability for US East Coast stakeholders and partners.

• Autonomy: Proven ability to drive resolution across frontend, backend, and infrastructure teams without constant supervision.
