Information Systems Associates (ISA) , in partnership with Air Arabia , is seeking a high-caliber Solutions Manager (Engineering) . This is a strategic leadership role designed for an expert who can bridge the gap between complex aviation engineering requirements and cutting-edge IT infrastructure. You will act as the primary consultant for the Air Arabia Group, ensuring that departments like MCC, CAMO, and Technical Services are equipped with cost-effective, high-performance technology solutions.

As the Solutions Manager, you are not just managing software; you are architecting the digital future of an airline. You will be responsible for a 3-year IT roadmap, managing multi-million dirham budgets, and ensuring that systems like AMOS and Aviatar are optimized to provide a competitive edge. If you possess a blend of technical engineering depth and executive-level stakeholder management skills, this role offers a premier platform within the MENA region’s aviation sector.

Key Result Responsibilities

• Strategic Roadmap: Develop and execute a cost-effective 3-year IT strategy aligned with Air Arabia’s business objectives, leveraging technology to ensure a competitive advantage.

• Business Partnership: Serve as the sole IT representative for assigned engineering departments, conducting feasibility studies and recommending process improvements through advanced information systems.

• Project Leadership: Take full accountability for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and successfully transitioned into “Business as Usual” (BAU).

• Financial Stewardship: Plan and manage IT budgets for business units, focusing on ROI, cost efficiency, and the realization of tangible business benefits.

• Engineering Vertical Optimization: Drive digital transformation across specialized engineering verticals, including Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and CAMO .

• Standardization & Governance: Partner with ISA teams to stream standardization across IT policies and procedures, ensuring all solutions align with Group architecture principles.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science , or a related technical field. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.

• Certifications: PMP or equivalent Program Management qualification is preferred.

• Experience: * Minimum 8 years in IT Management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.

  • Deep domain expertise in aviation engineering systems (eg, AMOS, Aviatar ).

  • Proven track record in driving initiatives for MCC, CAMO, and Technical Services.

• Technical Expertise: Expert in data analysis, risk mitigation, benchmark studies, and feasibility analysis for large-scale IT transformations.

• Leadership: Exceptional negotiation, persuasive communication, and stakeholder management skills at the senior executive level.
