Job Description: Social Media Specialist & Office Assistant

Plus Mart General Trading LLC, a growing trading hub in Sharjah, is seeking a versatile and energetic Social Media Specialist & Office Assistant. This hybrid role is designed for a “digital-first” professional who can manage our online brand presence while ensuring our daily office operations run smoothly.

As the Social Media Specialist, you will be the creative voice of Plus Mart, engaging with our customers across multiple platforms to drive brand awareness. Simultaneously, as an Office Assistant, you will provide the essential administrative support that keeps our trading activities organized. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher or someone early in their career to gain diverse experience in both marketing and business administration within the UAE’s vibrant trading sector.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging posts, stories, and updates for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to showcase our product range.

  • Community Engagement: Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and messages promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends and local consumer behavior to keep Plus Mart’s content relevant and “viral-ready.”

  • Basic Design: Use tools like Canva or mobile editing apps to create visually appealing graphics and short product videos.

Office Administration:

  • Administrative Support: Assist in daily office tasks, including filing, data entry, and organizing digital records.

  • Customer Interaction: Handle basic phone inquiries and greet visitors with a professional and welcoming attitude.

  • Documentation: Help in preparing basic trade documents, invoices, or internal memos as directed by the management.

  • Office Maintenance: Ensure the office environment is organized and that essential supplies are replenished.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Open to Freshers with a strong passion for digital marketing and office work.

  • Skills: * Basic proficiency in social media platforms (IG, FB, TikTok).

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

    • Creative mindset with an eye for photography/videography.

  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.

  • Attributes: Highly organized, punctual, and able to multitask effectively between creative and administrative duties.

  • Location: Must be based in or able to commute reliably to Sharjah.
