Job Description: Senior Software Engineer / DevOps Specialist (.NET & Azure)

Are you a .NET expert with a passion for modernizing delivery through DevOps? NeST Digital is seeking a versatile Senior Software Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi team. This role is a hybrid of high-level application support and cutting-edge DevOps engineering, designed for someone who thrives on building reliable, automated systems and ensuring seamless software delivery.

In this position, you won’t just be maintaining code—you’ll be the architect of our CI/CD pipelines and the guardian of our cloud infrastructure. You will work directly with clients to solve complex bottlenecks, automate away the mundane, and implement the latest in containerization and orchestration technology.

Core Responsibilities

Pipeline Orchestration: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to guarantee rapid and reliable software releases.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Manage and scale environments using Azure and AKS , utilizing Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with QA, Development, and Operations teams to eliminate deployment friction and improve overall system reliability.
Proactive Monitoring: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using tools like Grafana , Prometheus , or the ELK Stack .
Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by creating Proof of Concepts (POCs) for emerging tools and mentoring the team on best practices.

Requirements & Skills

Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in a DevOps or Software Engineering role.
Cloud Proficiency: Deep expertise in Azure Cloud services (AKS, Storage, Virtual Machines).
Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker , Kubernetes , and Helm Charts .
Automation & Scripting: Strong command of Linux , Bash , and Python .
Version Control: Expert-level knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps .
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to work directly with high-value clients.
