Job Description: Senior Project Engineer

In this role, you will be the primary technical authority overseeing the lifecycle of complex Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. You will navigate the intersection of technical excellence, stringent safety protocols, and rigorous project controls. Your Technical & Strategic Mission

Project Lifecycle Leadership

• Technical Governance: Oversee the development of detailed engineering designs, ensuring they meet client specifications, international codes, and local UAE regulations.

• Contract Management: Manage EPC contractors and sub-vendors, ensuring adherence to Scope of Work (SOW), technical requirements, and quality standards.

• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential technical bottlenecks early in the project lifecycle and implement robust contingency plans to prevent delays or cost overruns.

Multi-Disciplinary Coordination

• Integrated Design: Harmonize inputs from Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams to ensure a seamless “clash-free” design and execution.

• HSE & Quality Assurance: Lead HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) and HAZID (Hazard Identification) studies. Ensure that all engineering outputs pass rigorous Quality Control (QC) audits.

• Change Management: Process Technical Queries (TQs) and Site Instructions (SIs), ensuring that all modifications are documented and their impact on the schedule is assessed.

Stakeholder & Financial Oversight

• Budget Tracking: Work alongside Project Controls to monitor Earned Value (EV), ensuring the project remains financially viable and aligned with the “Cost Performance Index” (CPI).

• Client Interface: Act as the primary technical point of contact for external stakeholders and government bodies (such as ADNOC, Musanada, or AD Power).

What You Bring to Global Corporation

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical preferred).

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in project engineering, with at least 5 years in a Senior capacity within the UAE.

• Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly desirable.

• Local Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Abu Dhabi engineering standards and ADNOC-specific project protocols.

• Software Mastery: Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and specialized CAD/Engineering simulation software.
