Job Description: Secondary English Teachers

Key Responsibilities

IB & Advanced Placement Delivery: Lead Secondary English classes using the IB framework (MYP/DP) and Advanced Placement (AP) standards.

Cultural Contextualization: Deliver the English curriculum in a way that is engaging and relevant to a predominantly local student body.

Assessment Mastery: Prepare students for rigorous external examinations and internal assessments, ensuring they meet the high standards of an international K-12 setting.

Collaborative Planning: Work within a diverse department to design units of work that foster 21st-century skills and global-mindedness.

Classroom Innovation: Utilize modern educational technology to enhance literacy, creative writing, and critical thinking skills.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in English or a closely related field is mandatory.

Professional Certification: Must hold a valid Teaching Qualification (Teaching License, QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).

IB Expertise: Strong preference will be given to candidates with verified MYP and DP experience.

Experience: A minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
