Job Description: Sales & Site/Office Engineer (Interior Fit-Out)

M. AL DARMAKI / TOTAL INTERIOR SOLUTIONS , a prominent interior specialist in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a versatile Site & Office Engineer . This role is a unique hybrid position designed for a technical professional who can handle the full project lifecycle—from initial client sales and quotations to CAD design and on-site execution.

As an engineer in this role, you will be the primary point of contact for both the office and the field. You will translate client requirements into technical shop drawings using AutoCAD , calculate material and labor costs to prepare competitive quotations, and then transition to the site to supervise the physical installation. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer who enjoys a mix of technical design, commercial estimation, and hands-on site management.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Quotation: Assist in the sales process by understanding client needs and preparing detailed commercial quotations and cost estimates for interior fit-out works.

• CAD Drafting: Prepare architectural shop drawings, floor plans, and sectional details using AutoCAD for client approval and site execution.

• Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring that contractors and craftsmen are following the approved drawings and maintaining quality standards.

• Project Coordination: Act as the liaison between the office and the site, ensuring materials are ordered on time and project milestones are met.

• Documentation: Maintain project files, update “as-built” drawings, and manage site progress reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering , Interior Design, or a related field.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for creating technical drawings and layouts.

• Experience: Previous experience in site supervision or office engineering within the interior fit-out industry is highly preferred.

• Driving License: A valid UAE Driving License is a significant advantage for traveling between the office and various project sites.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills for client interaction and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
