Are you a clinical expert with a passion for protecting the health of the next generation? Al Zaabi Group is seeking a specialized Pediatric Registered Nurse to join the team at the prestigious Royal Medical Centre – Shakhbout in Abu Dhabi.

This role is designed for a nurse who combines high-level technical precision with the soft skills required to manage young patients and their often-anxious families. In the pediatric setting, there is no room for error—especially regarding medication calculations and emergency response. You will be a vital partner to our Pediatricians, ensuring that infants, children, and adolescents receive safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Core Responsibilities & Impact

• Specialized Pediatric Care: Deliver high-quality nursing interventions for a demographic ranging from neonates to adolescents.

• Clinical Procedures: Expertly perform pediatric-specific tasks including IV cannulation, nebulization, oxygen therapy, and wound dressings.

• Vaccination Management: Administer immunizations in strict accordance with the UAE National Immunization Schedule.

• Treatment Room Support: Act as the primary assistant to Pediatricians during clinical exams and minor medical procedures.

• Vital Monitoring: Maintain vigilant oversight of age-specific vital signs, recognizing subtle changes in a child’s clinical status.

• Critical Medication Management: Perform precise, weight-based medication calculations—a mission-critical task in pediatric safety.

Candidate Requirements

• Licensure: Must possess a valid DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) License or a transferable Eligibility Letter.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in a Pediatric Clinic, Ward, or OPD setting.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

• Certifications: Valid BLS is required; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is highly preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and deep knowledge of DOH infection control protocols.

Emergency Response Competencies

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to act decisively during pediatric emergencies, including:

• Febrile Seizures: Immediate stabilization and safety management.

• Asthma Attacks: Rapid administration of bronchodilators and oxygen.

• Dehydration: Assessment and management of fluid resuscitation.
