Are you a clinical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at building patient rapport? Mediclinic International is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Registered Nurse to join the “Middle East Family” at the Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

In this role, you will be the face of patient care within our outpatient department, where efficiency meets empathy. You will be responsible for coordinating evidence-based nursing care, ensuring that every patient’s journey—from check-in to follow-up—is safe, professional, and centered around their individual needs. As a key member of our multi-professional team, you will help maintain the high standards of safety and excellence that define the Mediclinic brand.

Core Responsibilities & Impact

• Patient-Centric Care: Deliver high-quality nursing interventions in an outpatient setting, collaborating with specialists and general practitioners to streamline the patient experience.

• Clinical Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage potential risks to ensure 100% patient safety in accordance with UAE legislation and Mediclinic policies.

• Environment Optimization: Foster a welcoming and conducive clinical environment, ensuring that patient satisfaction remains a top priority.

• Mentorship & Coaching: Contribute to a “learning culture” by supervising and mentoring junior nursing staff and learners to build departmental competence.

• Regulatory Compliance: Uphold the ethical and professional standards set by the Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi and the company’s internal nursing leadership.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Certification

• Essential: A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing .

• Essential: A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.

Experience

• Essential: At least 2 years of post-graduate nursing experience in your home country.

• Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience specifically in a hospital outpatient setting .

• Advantage: Previous experience working within the UAE healthcare system is highly beneficial.

Skills & Knowledge

• Communication: Fluent in written and spoken English; Basic Arabic language skills are highly preferred.

• Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy (MS Office) and familiarity with electronic health record systems.

• Clinical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of international patient safety standards.
