Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital is seeking a specialized Nuclear Medicine Registered Nurse to join our advanced diagnostic imaging team in Abu Dhabi. This role is designed for a clinician who can master the intersection of high-tech radiopharmaceuticals and high-touch patient care.

In Nuclear Medicine, precision and safety are paramount. You will be responsible for preparing patients for complex scans (such as PET/CT or SPECT), administering radioactive isotopes, and monitoring patient safety throughout the diagnostic and therapeutic process. As a “Care Leader,” you will not only manage the technical requirements of the department but also mentor junior staff and provide a calming presence for patients navigating complex diagnoses.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Collaborative Clinical Care: Partner with the multi-professional team to deliver high-quality nursing care that meets both clinical standards and UAE legislation.

• Risk Management & Patient Safety: Proactively identify and mitigate clinical risks, ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and patient safety standards.

• Patient Experience Excellence: Foster a welcoming and professional environment that prioritizes positive patient outcomes and satisfaction.

• Clinical Mentorship: Actively supervise and coach junior nursing staff and learners to build departmental competence.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all nursing activities align with the ethical and professional standards set by the Department of Health (DOH) and Mediclinic policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Essential).

• Certifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certificates (Essential).

• Experience: * Essential: At least 2 years of nursing experience in your home country.

  • Desired: Previous experience within the UAE healthcare system.

  • Note: Experience in Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, or Oncology is highly advantageous.

• Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong verbal and written English communication; Basic Arabic skills are a plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

  • Deep understanding of international and local patient safety standards.
