Core Responsibilities & Impact

  • Specialized Clinical Delivery: Provide advanced nursing care within your specific field of expertise, ensuring all interventions align with DHA/HAAD regulatory frameworks.

  • Clinical Leadership: Function as a Charge Nurse when required, overseeing ward operations and mentoring junior staff.

  • Safety & IPC Standards: Maintain rigorous compliance with international Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols to ensure a sterile and safe healing environment.

  • Technology Integration: Operate and manage sophisticated clinical equipment and healthcare technology systems.

  • Education & Advocacy: Act as a service-oriented liaison, providing vital health education to patients and their families.


Candidate Requirements

  • Education: BSc in Nursing is highly preferred; Diploma holders may be considered for selected roles.

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of full-time post-qualification experience in a relevant hospital specialty.

  • Licensing Readiness: Must hold a valid NCK (or home country) license and be prepared to sit for the Prometric Exam .

  • Credentialing: A completed Dataflow Report for primary source verification is mandatory.

  • Linguistic Skills: Proficiency in English is required (OET/IELTS scores may be requested during the licensing phase).


The UAE Nursing License Pathway

To practice in the UAE, nurses must navigate a rigorous three-step verification process to ensure the highest quality of care:

  1. Dataflow: Primary source verification of your degrees and licenses.

  2. Prometric Exam: A computer-based assessment of clinical knowledge (

    $$Pass \space Mark \approx 60-70\%$$

    depending on the authority).

  3. Credentialing: Final approval by the DHA (Dubai) or DOH (Abu Dhabi) to issue the practicing license.
