In this role, you will be the bridge between Data Science and the investment desk. Your mission is to build the “next-generation” glass for portfolio managers and analysts—creating fast, secure, and insight-driven interfaces that power multi-million dollar decisions. This isn’t just about rendering components; it’s about designing workflows for complex financial datasets where latency and clarity are critical. Your Technical & Strategic Mission

Next-Gen Interface Engineering

• React & TypeScript Mastery: Develop high-quality, type-safe applications and contribute to a proprietary reusable component library tailored for financial services.

• Financial Data Visualization: Visualize complex datasets—from real-time market feeds to risk analytics—using modern libraries like Recharts, D3.js, or Highcharts.

• Mobile-First for iOS: Build and optimize responsive front-ends that feel native on iOS, ensuring portfolio managers have critical insights on their iPads and iPhones as seamlessly as on their desktops.

UI/UX Design & Prototyping

• Design to Code: Use Figma to design polished interfaces and interactive prototypes that simplify complex investment workflows.

• Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with investment stakeholders to identify friction points in their daily operations and solve them through intuitive UI design.

• Identity & Security: Implement best-practice secure architecture, including Identity/SSO (Single Sign-On) and secure API integrations to protect sensitive financial data.

Quality & Engineering Culture

• Robust Delivery: Drive software quality through comprehensive testing and modern CI/CD deployment pipelines.

• Async Patterns: Manage complex application states and asynchronous data patterns (e.g., WebSockets for real-time data) to ensure the UI never lags behind the market.

What You Bring to the Team

• Experience: 5+ years of professional React and TypeScript development in production environments.

• Domain Knowledge: A strong understanding of investment and finance concepts (equities, fixed income, risk metrics) and the ability to speak the language of financial stakeholders.

• Mobile Expertise: Proven track record in delivering mobile-optimized web interfaces or React Native applications.

• Design Toolkit: Proficiency with Figma, combined with a deep understanding of state management (Redux, Zustand, or Context API) and routing.
