Pipecare Group is seeking a high-caliber Production Planning Lead to oversee our workshop operations in Sharjah. As a global leader in pipeline inspection and integrity services, we require a strategic engineer who can bridge the gap between complex technical designs and efficient shop floor execution.

In this pivotal role, you will be the architect of our production flow. You will be responsible for transforming raw materials and engineering plans into high-precision pipeline inspection tools, ensuring every stage of the manufacturing process adheres to rigorous quality standards. We are looking for a “Lean champion” who can utilize ERP data to eliminate waste, optimize resource allocation, and drive a culture of continuous improvement within our state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Orchestration: Manage daily workshop activities, ensuring that production schedules are met and resources (manpower, machinery, and materials) are utilized to their full potential.

• Process Optimization: Implement Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to streamline workflows, reduce lead times, and enhance overall shop floor productivity.

• ERP & Data Integration: Leverage ERP tools to track production progress, manage inventory levels, and generate data-driven reports for senior management regarding output and efficiency.

• Quality & Compliance: Maintain unwavering commitment to international quality standards, ensuring that all produced inspection equipment meets the technical specifications required for high-pressure pipeline environments.

• Resource Coordination: Collaborate with the procurement and maintenance teams to ensure zero downtime by managing equipment health and material availability.

• Leadership: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of technicians and operators, fostering a safe and high-performance work culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering .

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in production planning or workshop management, preferably within the oil and gas or heavy engineering sectors.

• Technical Mastery: Deep familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and a solid foundation in Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

• Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to lead a diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment.

• Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to present technical data clearly to both shop floor teams and executive stakeholders.
