LIN SCAN Advanced Pipelines & Tanks Services, a global leader in high-tech pipeline inspection and “intelligent pigging” solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Precision CNC Lathe Machinist. This role is central to our manufacturing hub in Sharjah, where we design and produce the sophisticated robotic components used to inspect the world’s energy infrastructure.

As a Precision Machinist, you will do more than just operate machinery; you will be responsible for the high-tolerance manufacturing and assembly of critical metal components. You will work with exotic alloys and complex geometries that must withstand extreme underground and subsea pressures. Key Responsibilities

• Precision Machining: Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce high-tolerance components for pipeline inspection tools (PIGs).

• Systems Expertise: Program and troubleshoot using both Siemens and Fanuc control systems to ensure seamless production.

• Quality Inspection: Perform rigorous measurement of components using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure 100% adherence to technical drawings.

• Mechanical Assembly: Assemble intricate metal components, identifying and resolving potential fitment or tolerance issues during the build phase.

• Problem Identification: Proactively identify material defects or machining errors before they reach the final assembly stage.

• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the engineering team to optimize machining processes and improve component durability.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.

• Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining. Experience specifically with In-Line Inspection (ILI) tools or oil & gas equipment is highly preferred.

• Control Systems: Expert-level proficiency in Siemens and Fanuc CNC controls.

• Language: Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Hindi.

• Physicality: This role requires physical mobility for handling components and operating heavy machinery in a workshop environment.
