As a Senior Video Engineer, you are the technical architect on the ground. You will translate complex creative visions into flawless digital reality, managing everything from massive LED canvases to intricate projection mapping. We are looking for a leader who combines deep mathematical precision (pixel counts, power loads, and network architecture) with the “show-must-go-on” grit required to manage onsite teams under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Engineering: Calculate power requirements, server output capacities, and pixel counts for massive LED and projection setups.

• System Design & Operation: Lead the installation, configuration, and operation of advanced video technology, including media servers, cameras, and complex network architectures.

• Projection Mastery: Calculate Lux levels and edge-blending requirements to ensure seamless, high-brightness displays across non-standard surfaces.

• Onsite Leadership: Drive onsite teams through the installation, show-run, and dismantle phases, ensuring PRG’s quality standards are met at every stage.

• Maintenance & Documentation: Maintain rigorous technical documentation, ensure software licenses are current, and perform fault-finding/repair on hardware before and after events.

• Health & Safety: Actively promote safe lifting practices and ensure a hazard-free environment on-site and in the warehouse, adhering to strict H&S regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of direct experience in the live events industry. Applicants without specific live events experience will not be considered.

• Technical Literacy: Expert understanding of LED technology, Media Servers (e.g., Disguise, Watchout), and Network Architecture.

• Mathematical Precision: Ability to calculate processor loading, lens ratios, and electrical distribution for complex AV rigs.

• Software Proficiency: Fluent in Microsoft Office and industry-specific rental software (e.g., WinHits).

• Soft Skills: Methodical approach to troubleshooting, excellent communication in English, and the ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.

• Logistics: Full clean driving license and a positive, proactive attitude.
