Production Resource Group (PRG), the global leader in entertainment and event technology, is seeking a high-caliber Project Manager to join our Middle East operations in Sharjah. This role is a cornerstone of our music, touring, and large-scale special events sectors. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can navigate the complexities of international touring riders, multi-million dollar budgets, and the high-pressure environment of live stadium productions.

As a Project Manager, you are the central link between the client’s creative vision and technical execution. You will manage the full lifecycle of an event—from the initial CAD design and fiscal margin control to the final load-out. Whether you are working with global promoters, tour managers, or production agencies, your goal is to deliver a world-class technical experience (Audio, Lighting, Video, Rigging) while maintaining rigorous commercial and safety standards.

Key Result Responsibilities

• Commercial & Fiscal Management: Oversee full project budgets, ensuring margin control and fiscal health. Manage procurement, sub-hires, and change orders while adhering to credit control policies.

• Technical Design & Pre-production: Field enquiries to develop comprehensive briefs. Utilize CAD/Vectorworks to interpret and amend site plans and system schematics.

• Safety & Compliance: Collate detailed Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Ensure rigging and power calculations meet international standards (IOSH/NEBOSH preferred).

• Logistical Orchestration: Manage equipment booking via WinHits rental software. Brief technical crews on rig/de-rig times, layouts, and individual responsibilities.

• Onsite Leadership: Supervise the build and installation phases on-site, acting as the primary point of contact for the client and coordinating integrated contractors (scenic, audio, video).

• Client Relations: Develop and present commercial bids and quotes. Act as a brand ambassador for PRG, maintaining high-level interpersonal relationships with global touring entities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a similar role within the live events industry (specifically Concerts/Touring).

• Technical Mastery: Proven track record in Lighting, Audio, Video, and Rigging. Knowledge of power distribution and cable specifications is essential.

• Software Proficiency: Expert in Microsoft Office and CAD / Vectorworks. Experience with equipment rental software is a distinct advantage.

• Leadership: Strong negotiation and people management skills. Ability to lead a diverse team in a deadline-driven, “one-shot-only” environment.

• Licensing: Must possess a full clean driving license and a willingness to travel to various venues and PRG locations.
