Wood
PMC Engineer (Construction Mechanical): Site Based
Are you a technical leader with the grit to oversee large-scale energy infrastructure from the field? Wood is recruiting a PMC Engineer (Construction Mechanical) to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team, supporting a high-profile ADNOC Onshore project in Abu Dhabi.
In this site-based role, you will act as the client’s eyes and ears, ensuring that every weld, pipe spool, and rotating equipment installation meets the rigorous standards of ADNOC. You will bridge the gap between complex engineering designs and physical execution, managing contractor performance to ensure the project remains on schedule, within budget, and, above all, safe. If you have a deep background in mechanical completion and a “Zero Harm” mindset, Wood offers the platform to work on transformative projects at the heart of the global energy transition.

-
Testing Witness: Witness and endorse critical mechanical tests, including hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, leak testing, and system flushing.
-
Handover Readiness: Manage the mechanical completion dossiers, lead system walkdowns, and oversee the closure of punch list items for MC (Mechanical Completion) and RFC (Ready for Commissioning).
Project Coordination & Leadership
