Job Description: Play Attendant & Babysitter

Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts , a global leader in luxury hospitality, is seeking a Play Attendant and Babysitter to join their world-class guest services team in Dubai. This role is positioned within the resort’s Kids’ Club and private childcare services, where the primary goal is to provide a “Jumeirah-standard” experience for the youngest guests.

As a Play Attendant, you are the face of fun and safety. You will facilitate high-energy activities, manage creative workshops, and provide specialized babysitting services for guests within the luxury villas and suites. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, safety-conscious professional who can transform a standard holiday into an unforgettable adventure for children from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Activity Facilitation: Lead and supervise engaging activities including arts and crafts, water sports, team games, and themed parties.

• Luxury Babysitting: Provide one-on-one childcare for resort guests, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-standard environment within guest rooms or villas.

• Child Safety & Hygiene: Monitor all play areas to ensure they meet strict health and safety regulations. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness for toys and equipment.

• Guest Interaction: Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children’s needs, dietary restrictions, and developmental progress during their stay.

• Operational Support: Assist with guest registration at the Kids’ Club, manage inventory of play materials, and ensure the facility is always “guest-ready.”

• Conflict Resolution: Calmly and professionally manage any disputes or emotional needs of children in a group setting.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel, resort, or high-end educational setting.

• Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory. A diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.

• Soft Skills: Energetic, creative, patient, and possessing excellent “people skills” to interact with VVIP guests.

• Language: Fluent English is required; Proficiency in additional languages ​​(Arabic, Russian, German, or French) is a significant advantage.

• Stamina: Ability to remain physically active for long shifts in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
