Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Assessment: Perform age-appropriate assessments of pediatric patients, including monitoring growth parameters (weight, height, head circumference) and vital signs.

• Procedure Support: Assist pediatricians in a range of medical procedures such as wound care, suturing, and diagnostic tests.

• Immunization Management: Administer vaccines according to the UAE Ministry of Education and DHA schedules, ensuring accurate documentation and parent education on potential side effects.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with pediatricians, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans for chronic or complex cases.

• Emergency Readiness: Maintain high proficiency in life-saving interventions and ensure the clinic’s emergency equipment is checked and ready for use at all times.

• Family Education: Provide guidance to parents on nutrition, developmental milestones, and home-care instructions following clinical visits.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: A valid Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BScN) from a recognized institution.

• Licensure: Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Nursing License or eligibility to obtain one.

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is highly preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate experience specifically within a Pediatric clinical or hospital setting.

• Skills: Exceptional “bedside manner” with children, strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus), and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
