Are you a “ride-share meets ER” innovator ready to architect the “air-traffic-control system for healthcare”? Sage Care — a high-growth Series A startup founded by alumni from Apple, Uber, and Carbon Health — is seeking a Partner Engineer to lead our international expansion in the United Arab Emirates .

Recently emerging from stealth with $20 million in funding led by Yosemite (founded by Reed Jobs), Sage Care is solving the global “navigation mess” in healthcare. We use clinically grounded AI and real-time optimization to ensure the right patient sees the right doctor at the right time. As our primary technical bridge in the MENA region, you will integrate our AI platform with major health systems (EHRs/EMRs), transforming how millions of patients access care across Abu Dhabi and beyond.

Your Technical & Strategic Mission

Partner Integration & Cloud Architecture

• Technical Point of Contact: Lead the technical relationship for MENA-based health system partners, overseeing the smooth deployment of AI solutions on AWS or Azure .

• EHR/EMR Integration: Direct the integration of Sage Care’s platform with complex Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), ensuring data interoperability and security.

• API & Workflow Design: Develop custom integration processes, data mappings, and REST API workflows that align Sage Care’s intelligence with existing hospital infrastructures.

AI Solution Customization & Prototyping

• Tailored AI Workflows: Design decision trees and annotation workflows that mirror partners’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Simulations & Demos: Build high-impact prototypes and run operational simulations to showcase Sage Care’s potential to prospective healthcare leaders.

• Interoperability: Ensure seamless integration with call-center technologies (eg, Twilio, RingCentral, Cisco Finesse) to optimize patient navigation through voice and text.

Collaboration & Product Growth

• Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the MENA partner, relaying technical feedback and regional requirements back to the core Product and Engineering teams in the US

• Regulatory Alignment: Stay updated on regional healthcare regulations (eg, ADHICS , Malaffi standards) to ensure all deployments remain compliant and secure.

What You Bring to Sage Care

• Proven Experience: 5+ years in a technical role such as Partner Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Consulting.

• Engineering Foundation: Deep understanding of APIs, Cloud Technologies (AWS/Azure), and Data Mapping .

• Sales Acumen: A natural ability to translate “pain points” into technical solutions and navigate client-facing environments with confidence.

• Healthcare Fluency (Nice to Have): Familiarity with clinical workflows and regulatory standards like HIPAA or local UAE health data laws.

• Call Center Logistics (Nice to Have): Experience with communication platforms like RingCentral, Twilio, or Cisco Jabber .
