Mediclinic International is seeking an exceptional Pediatric Ward Nurse to join our dedicated team in Abu Dhabi. At Mediclinic, we believe that pediatric nursing is a specialized calling that requires a unique blend of clinical mastery, emotional intelligence, and a “family-first” mindset.

In this role, you will act as a Patient Care Leader , navigating the complexities of acute pediatric care while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for our youngest patients. You will be a key collaborator within a multi-professional team, working alongside world-class doctors and therapists to drive positive clinical outcomes. Beyond the bedside, you will serve as a Mentor , helping to shape the next generation of nursing professionals through knowledge sharing and leadership by example.

Key Responsibilities

• Holistic Pediatric Care: Deliver patient-centric, evidence-based nursing care specifically tailored to the physiological and psychological needs of infants, children, and adolescents.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure unwavering adherence to quality patient safety standards and clinical risk management protocols.

• Team Collaboration: Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate seamless transitions of care and comprehensive treatment plans.

• Mentorship & Development: Actively contribute to a constructive learning environment by mentoring junior staff and fostering a culture of excellence.

• Family Advocacy: Provide clear communication and emotional support to families, empowering them as partners in their child’s recovery.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from a recognized institution.

• Experience: * Minimum of 2 years of general nursing experience.

  • Significant preference given to candidates with Pediatric Ward or Acute Child Health experience.

• Certifications: * Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) .

  • Valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Essential).

• Licensing: Eligibility for DOH Abu Dhabi licensure as a Registered Nurse.
