KBR, Inc. is seeking a high-caliber Onshore Mega EPC Procurement Coordinator to join our Abu Dhabi headquarters. This is a senior-tier role designed for a professional who thrives on the complexity of “Mega” projects—where the scale is massive, the timelines are aggressive, and the global supply chain must move with surgical precision.

In this position, you will be the central nervous system of the procurement lifecycle. You will synchronize the flow of long-lead items, coordinate with global vendors, and ensure that the engineering requirements of massive onshore Oil & Gas facilities are translated into on-site reality. If you have spent the last decade mastering the nuances of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) for the energy sector, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Orchestration: Manage the end-to-end procurement activities for Onshore Mega EPC projects, ensuring all materials and equipment arrive in alignment with the construction sequence.

• Vendor Ecosystem Management: Oversee relationships with international high-value vendors, managing technical bid evaluations (TBE) and commercial negotiations for critical equipment.

• Critical Path Monitoring: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks that could impact project milestones, specifically for long-lead items (LLIs) like large compressors or pressure vessels.

• Interdisciplinary Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between the Engineering, Project Management, and Site Construction teams to ensure technical specifications are strictly adhered to during the buying process.

• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with KBR’s global standards, client mandates (e.g., ADNOC), and UAE regulatory requirements.

• Reporting & Analytics: Provide senior management with high-level reporting on procurement progress, budget variances, and expediting status.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline).

• Professional Experience: * Minimum of 12+ years of total experience in procurement/supply chain management.

  • At least 5 years specifically as a Coordinator or Lead within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors.

• Sector Expertise: Proven track record in Mega EPC projects (projects exceeding $500M+ in value).

• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of the global logistics of onshore energy infrastructure and familiarization with ERP/Procurement software.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional project management capabilities, high-stakes negotiation skills, and the ability to lead multicultural teams across different time zones.
