Core Responsibilities & Impact

  • Specialized Patient Management: Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing nuclear medicine procedures (such as PET/CT, bone scans, or thyroid therapies).

  • Radiopharmaceutical Safety: Collaborate with the multi-professional team to ensure the safe administration of isotopes and maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols.

  • Patient Advocacy & Education: Act as a “Patient-Centric Leader,” guiding patients and families through complex procedures and providing education on post-procedure safety.

  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all nursing activities comply with UAE legislation, DOH regulations, and Mediclinic’s ethical clinical standards.

  • Mentorship & Learning: Contribute to a positive clinical environment by mentoring junior staff and participating in continuous learning initiatives within the department.

  • Safety & Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage clinical risks to ensure a zero-harm environment for both patients and staff.


Candidate Requirements

  • Education: A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.

  • Licensure: Valid professional nursing license; eligibility for or possession of a DOH (Abu Dhabi) license.

  • Advantage: Candidates with UAE-specific experience and familiarity with local healthcare regulations are highly preferred.

  • Attributes: Strong critical thinking, excellent interpersonal communication, and a commitment to mentorship and professional growth.
