NMC Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and resilient Neonatal ICU (NICU) Nurse to join our specialized neonatal team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be the primary advocate for our most vulnerable patients—newborns requiring intensive medical monitoring and life-sustaining interventions.

Working within NMC’s advanced neonatal units, you will balance high-tech clinical monitoring with high-touch compassionate care. You will collaborate with neonatologists and respiratory therapists to manage complex cases, including premature births, congenital conditions, and acute neonatal illnesses. Core Responsibilities

• Critical Monitoring: Provide 24/7 continuous assessment of neonatal vital signs, including advanced hemodynamic and respiratory monitoring.

• Specialized Intervention: Administer neonatal-specific medications and assist in life-saving procedures such as intubation, surfactant administration, and umbilical line maintenance.

• Nutritional Support: Manage specialized feeding protocols, including TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) and gavage feeding.

• Family-Centered Care: Educate and support parents in “Kangaroo Care” and neonatal bonding, ensuring they are integrated into the care plan.

• Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Participate in daily clinical rounds to adjust treatment plans based on the neonate’s evolving status.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

• Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse license (DOH/HAAD/MOH eligibility is essential).

• Experience: Proven experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care setting is highly preferred.

• Communication: Full proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a significant advantage for family communication.

• Personal Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to remain calm in high-acuity situations.
