Chic Furniture, a modern and trend-setting brand in Sharjah, is seeking a creative Junior Motion Graphic Designer / Video Editor to join our marketing team. This role is perfect for a digital storyteller who understands how to make furniture look as good on screen as it does in a showroom.

In this position, you will be the driving force behind our social media presence. You will transform raw footage into high-energy Reels, TikToks, and Shorts that capture our audience’s attention. This is a “growth role”—we are looking for someone with a solid foundation in editing and a hunger to develop their motion graphics skills in a fast-paced, real-world retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Content Production: Edit engaging, short-form video content tailored for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

• Motion Graphics & Animation: Create simple but effective animated elements, such as text overlays, transitions, and logo reveals, to elevate our video quality.

• Graphic Design: Design static marketing assets, including YouTube thumbnails, Facebook banners, and Instagram post layouts.

• Content Creation Support: Assist the marketing team during shoots, capturing behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage and product clips using mobile or DSLR equipment.

• Format Optimization: Manage the resizing and formatting of content to ensure every post is perfectly optimized for its specific platform (9:16, 4:5, 1:1).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in video editing or digital graphic design.

• Software Tools: * Proficiency: Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop/Canva.

  • Working Knowledge: Adobe After Effects for basic motion work.

• Social Media Literacy: A deep understanding of current trends, trending audio, and the technical requirements of modern social platforms.

• Technical Agility: Ability to quickly adapt to new styles and turn around content in a fast-moving marketing cycle.

• Portfolio: A portfolio or “showreel” demonstrating your ability to edit clean, rhythmic, and visually appealing videos.
