Job Description: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Ghulam Mujtaba Transport, a prominent name in the UAE logistics and heavy lifting sector, is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This role is critical to maintaining our fleet’s operational readiness, specifically focusing on our high-capacity mobile cranes and earthmoving machinery.

In this position, you will be the technical guardian of our most valuable assets. You will move between the workshop and active sites, diagnosing complex hydraulic failures on 500T cranes or performing precision engine overhauls on excavators. We are looking for a “master of iron” who understands the nuances of major global brands and can ensure that every machine dispatched from our yard meets the highest standards of safety and performance. If you have extensive GCC experience and a passion for heavy-duty engineering, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Diagnostics: Identify and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults across a diverse fleet, including mobile cranes and excavators.

• Component Overhauling: Perform expert-level overhauls of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, gearboxes, and transmission systems.

• Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled service programs to minimize downtime and prevent catastrophic failures during site operations.

• System Inspections: Conduct rigorous pre-dispatch inspections to verify that load mechanisms and safety systems are fully functional.

• Technical Reporting: Maintain accurate service logs and provide detailed reports to management regarding major repairs and part requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experience specifically in heavy equipment maintenance.

• Brand Expertise: Proven experience with world-class brands such as Liebherr, Tadano, Sany, Zoomlion, and XCMG.

• Specialized Knowledge: Deep understanding of hydraulic circuits, crane load-moment indicators (LMI), and electrical diagnostic tools.

• Crane Focus: Experience working on mobile cranes ranging from 50T to 500T is essential.

• Joining Status: Preference will be given to candidates available for immediate joining.
