Job Description: Mathematics & English Teacher (Secondary)

Are you a versatile educator with a dual passion for numbers and language? Ibn Seena English School in Sharjah is seeking a dedicated and professional Maths and English Teacher to join our secondary faculty.

We are looking for an educator who can navigate the logic of mathematics and the nuances of the English language with equal skill. This role is specifically focused on Grade 7 and Grade 8 , a critical transition period where students build the foundational skills necessary for higher secondary success. Core Responsibilities

• Dual-Subject Instruction: Deliver high-quality lessons in both Mathematics and English for 7th and 8th-grade classes.

• Curriculum Delivery: Translate complex mathematical concepts into digestible steps while fostering advanced literacy and communication skills in English.

• Student Engagement: Create an interactive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking in Maths and creative expression in English.

• Linguistic Excellence: Serve as a linguistic role model by maintaining high standards of spoken and written English at all times.

• Progress Monitoring: Assess student work regularly, providing constructive feedback to ensure all learners meet the secondary curriculum benchmarks.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in Mathematics, English, or a related field.

• Professional Qualification: A B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is strongly preferred.

• Nationality & Residency: Specifically seeking Indian nationals currently based in the UAE (Sharjah, Ajman, or Dubai) on their own visa.

• Communication: Must demonstrate “crisp, correct English” with excellent verbal and written clarity.

• Experience: Previous experience teaching secondary levels (specifically Grades 7-8) is highly valued.
