Are you an energetic, reliable driver with a passion for delivering “Premium” service? Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) is seeking two Part-Time Couriers to join our world-class operations team in Abu Dhabi.

In this role, you are the face of FedEx. You won’t just be driving; you will be managing the “Extra Last Mile,” ensuring that every package is handled with speed, security, and professional courtesy. As part of a diverse, multi-national team, you will navigate the streets of Abu Dhabi to pick up and deliver vital shipments, manage complex logistics documentation, and solve problems on the fly. Key Responsibilities

• Pickup & Delivery Excellence: Provide professional and efficient vehicle-based pickup and delivery of customer packages, ensuring all legal and FedEx safety requirements are met.

• Logistics & Sortation: Perform physical loading/unloading of trucks and containers. Sort documents and packages in a logical flow to optimize route productivity.

• Vehicle Stewardship: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate Vehicle Inspection Reports (VIR) and ensuring the ongoing security of the vehicle and its contents.

• Documentation & Audit: Accurately complete delivery records, manifests, and time cards. Audit customer paperwork (Air Waybills, Commercial Invoices, and Customs documents) for completeness.

• Customer Interaction: Resolve customer queries on-site, advise on shipping procedures, and identify opportunities to improve service through automation or additional sales.

• Strategic Routing: Plan and re-prioritize stops independently to meet strict time windows and productivity targets, responding to real-time updates from dispatch.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensure: MUST possess a valid UAE manual Driving License (held for at least 6 months).

• Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift up to 32kg and maneuver packages up to 70kg.

• Experience: Previous experience driving commercial vehicles is preferred; experience in a customer-facing role is essential.

• Knowledge: General geographical knowledge of Abu Dhabi city and strong map-reading skills.

• Communication: Good command of English (verbal and written); fluency in local languages is a plus.

• Technical Skills: Basic PC skills, including the use of printers and handheld scanning devices.

Employment Details

• Schedule: 24-hour work week on a rotating schedule.

• Availability: Required to work weekends, public holidays, and special ad-hoc shuttles between FedEx locations.

• Overtime: This position is eligible for overtime as per FedEx policy.

• Grade: 4
