In this role, you will be part of the “brain” behind the build. Method Engineering is about deciding how a project will be executed—from the initial fabrication on land to the complex installation of massive structures in the middle of the sea. You will work on the cutting edge of the energy transition, utilizing digital tools and sustainable processes to ensure our offshore and onshore projects are safe, efficient, and innovative. Your Technical & Strategic Mission

Engineering & Planning

• Execution Strategy: Develop detailed offshore installation methods and procedures for structures, pipelines, and subsea modules.

• Sequence Optimization: Analyze and optimize construction sequences to maximize efficiency while maintaining the highest safety standards.

• Structural Analysis: Prepare critical analyses for lifting, load-out, and transportation to ensure structures can withstand the stresses of movement.

Technical Documentation & Compliance

• Method Statements: Draft comprehensive method statements and work instructions that serve as the “manual” for site teams.

• Risk Management: Conduct rigorous risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards during the execution phase.

• Standards Adherence: Ensure all designs and procedures comply with international industry standards such as API, DNV, and ISO.

Interface & Site Support

• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Work closely with fabrication and vessel operations teams to bridge the gap between “on-paper” engineering and real-world execution.

• Field Support: Provide technical assistance during the fabrication and offshore phases, assisting in troubleshooting and solving engineering challenges as they arise on-site.

What You Bring to Saipem

• Citizenship: Must be a UAE National (Family Book holder).

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.

• Experience Level: Entry-level (0–2 years). This role is designed for fresh graduates or junior engineers with a high potential for growth.

• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to visualize complex 3D installation sequences.

• Communication: Fluency in English is essential for coordinating with our diverse, international project teams.

• Ambition: A passion for sustainability and the “Net Zero” transition within the energy sector.
