This role is ideal for those who value data-driven instruction and are eager to contribute to a school working toward full IB World School status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Integration: Deliver US Common Core standards through an IB-inspired pedagogical approach, preparing students for US Diplomas, AP courses, and potentially the IB Diploma.

  • Data-Driven Instruction: Utilize student data to drive instructional decisions and demonstrate high levels of assessment literacy.

  • Differentiated Learning: Skillfully differentiate and engage students within a 100% ESL learning environment, primarily serving local UAE students.

  • Instructional Strategy: Implement effective instructional strategies and maintain technological proficiency in the classroom.

  • Collaborative Growth: Work collegially within a professional team to support the school’s mission and take advantage of extensive professional development opportunities.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related teaching subject.

  • Certification: A valid teaching license or recognized teacher qualification.

  • Experience: At least two years of post-qualifying teaching experience (mandatory per Ministry regulations).

  • Curriculum Knowledge: Experience with the American Curriculum (specifically Common Core) is highly valued.

  • Language Proficiency: Candidates who are not native English speakers must possess an IELTS score of 7.0.
