Job Description: Secondary English Teacher (Female) – Abu Dhabi

Starting in August 2026 , this role offers a fascinating pedagogical challenge: delivering the US Common Core Curriculum through the lens of International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy . This is not a typical Western expat school; you will be working primarily with local Emirati students in a 100% ESL environment, making your role as a mentor and language specialist vital to their success.
Core Responsibilities & Expectations

Inquiry-Based Instruction: Blend traditional American textbook methods with student-centered IB philosophies to drive engagement.

Candidate Requirements

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in English or a closely related teaching subject.

Licensing: A valid, recognized professional teaching license.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience (Ministry requirement).

Skills: Proficiency in US Common Core standards is highly valued; Must be technologically savvy and skilled in ESL differentiation.
