Core Responsibilities & Impact

• High-Acuity Management: Deliver advanced clinical nursing care to critically ill patients (adults or neonates) requiring continuous monitoring and life-support interventions.

• Technical Mastery: Operate specialized ICU/NICU equipment, including mechanical ventilators, high-frequency oscillators, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.

• Rapid Response: Act as a key member of the emergency intervention team, utilizing advanced protocols (ACLS/NRP) to stabilize patients during critical events.

• Collaborative Care: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, neonatologists, and therapists to implement and adjust complex care plans.

• Family-Centered Advocacy: Provide essential emotional support and clinical education to families navigating the stress of a critical care stay.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: A mandatory Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing.

• Licensure: Must hold a valid NCK (Nursing Council) license and be prepared to sit for the UAE Prometric exam (DHA/DOH).

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent, full-time experience in a relevant hospital specialty (ICU or NICU).

• Attributes: Exceptional critical thinking, precision in pharmacological math, and the ability to remain calm in fast-paced, life-and-death situations.
