Job Description: Growth Leader – Pakistan & Diaspora Markets

Are you a strategic heavyweight with a track record of scaling fintech solutions across borders? Taptap Send is looking for a Growth Leader (Head of Pakistan) to spearhead our expansion within the Pakistani diaspora. Operating from our Dubai hub, you will own the end-to-end strategy for one of our most critical corridors, connecting users in the US and UAE with their families back home.

This isn’t a traditional “country manager” role—it is an entrepreneurial challenge. You will hold the keys to the P&L, designing high-impact customer acquisition strategies that resonate with the cultural nuances of the Pakistani community while leveraging the technical power of our global remittance platform. Core Responsibilities

  • P&L Ownership: Take full accountability for the Pakistan corridor’s profit and loss, managing budgets, forecasting growth, and optimizing unit economics.

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute multi-channel customer acquisition and retention strategies tailored to the Pakistani diaspora in the US and UAE.

  • Market Localization: Lead the “hyper-localization” of our marketing efforts, ensuring our messaging, product features, and community engagement feel native and trustworthy.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with local banks, payout providers, and community leaders in Pakistan and the diaspora regions.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to remove friction from the remittance journey and improve the “payout” experience in Pakistan.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze user behavior and corridor performance data to pivot strategies and capture market share in a highly competitive landscape.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 10–15 years of experience in high-growth environments (Fintech, Tech-Logistics, or FMCG), with a proven history of scaling products.

  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Pakistani diaspora’s financial behavior and the remittance landscape in the US or UAE.

  • Languages: Full professional fluency in English is required; fluency in Urdu is highly preferred to engage authentically with the community and local partners.

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage complex P&Ls and make data-backed growth bets.

  • Leadership Style: A “builder” mentality—comfortable with ambiguity and capable of leading a cross-border team toward aggressive targets.
