United Power Solutions is seeking a precise and technically skilled Generator Canopy & Enclosure Assembler to join our manufacturing facility in Sharjah. As a critical part of our production line, you will be responsible for building the protective and sound-attenuating structures that house high-performance power generators.

In this role, you will transform raw sheet metal components into finished, weather-proof, and acoustic-insulated enclosures. Your work ensures that our generators can operate reliably in the harsh UAE climate while meeting strict noise-pollution regulations. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in structural integrity and has a deep understanding of metal assembly techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural Assembly: Assemble heavy-duty generator canopies and acoustic enclosures by following detailed technical blueprints and engineering specifications.

• Metal Working: Perform precision fitting, drilling, cutting, and fastening of sheet metal panels and structural frames using specialized power tools.

• Insulation & Sealing: Install sound-absorbing rockwool or foam insulation, along with weather-stripping and seals, to ensure acoustic efficiency and moisture protection.

• Hardware Integration: Install doors, heavy-duty hinges, locks, air intake/exhaust louvers, and other accessories required for functional enclosure operation.

• Quality Control: Conduct self-inspections to ensure proper alignment, finishing quality, and that all dimensions meet the approved design tolerances.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the welding and paint departments to ensure a seamless production flow and coordinate with quality inspectors for final sign-offs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience in metal fabrication, specifically within canopy assembly or industrial enclosure manufacturing.

• Education: Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical or metal fabrication is highly preferred.

• Technical Literacy: Must be proficient in reading and interpreting 2D/3D technical drawings and assembly layouts.

• Tool Proficiency: Expert use of hand and power tools, including rivet guns, drills, grinders, and torque wrenches.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of finishing, ensuring no sharp edges or gaps in acoustic insulation.

• Safety Mindset: Strict adherence to workshop safety protocols, including the use of PPE and safe handling of large metal panels.
