Job Description: Consultant Gastroenterologist (Revenue Share)

Are you an expert in digestive health looking to expand your practice within a prestigious, patient-centric environment? ZIA Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai on a part-time basis.

In this role, you will be the clinical lead for gastrointestinal care, blending advanced diagnostic capabilities with an empathetic approach. We are looking for a specialist who excels in the “art of the consultation” while maintaining technical mastery in the endoscopy suite. Key Responsibilities

• Expert Consultations: Conduct comprehensive outpatient evaluations for a diverse range of gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders.

• Endoscopic Mastery: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including gastroscopies and colonoscopies , with a focus on patient safety and comfort.

• Patient Advocacy: Provide clear, empathetic explanations of diagnoses and personalized treatment pathways, ensuring patients are empowered in their healthcare journey.

• Clinical Governance: Maintain meticulous electronic medical records (EMR) in strict accordance with DHA (Dubai Health Authority) regulations and international best practices.

• Collaborative Care: Work alongside our internal medicine and surgical teams to provide a holistic, 360-degree approach to patient wellness.

• Quality & Safety: Actively participate in clinical audits and strictly adhere to the center’s stringent infection control and quality assurance protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Excellence: Medical Degree with a recognized specialization/Board Certification in Gastroenterology.

• Licensure: Must possess a valid DHA License or an active DHA Eligibility Letter as a Specialist/Consultant Gastroenterologist.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of post-specialization experience ; Previous clinical practice within the UAE healthcare landscape is highly preferred.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in performing interventional and diagnostic endoscopy.

• Interpersonal Skills: Fluency in English is required; Bilingual proficiency (Arabic/other) is a significant advantage for our diverse patient base.
