Job Description: Experienced Parts Counter Salesperson

Matrix Heavy Equipment Spare Parts is seeking a highly skilled and technical Parts Counter Salesperson to join our busy Sharjah operations. This is a specialized role for a “parts pro” who possesses a deep understanding of heavy machinery and the ability to navigate complex technical catalogs with speed and precision.

In this position, you are the face of our counter sales. You will interact daily with contractors, technicians, and fleet owners who require immediate, accurate solutions for their machinery. Whether it is for a JCB, Caterpillar, or a fleet of forklifts , your technical expertise will be the deciding factor in ensuring our customers experience minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities

• Expert Technical Consultation: Greet and assist walk-in customers, utilizing your knowledge of construction equipment and forklifts to identify the exact parts required.

• Catalog Mastery: Navigate electronic and manual parts catalogs (EPC) for major brands like Caterpillar and JCB to find specific part numbers and cross-references.

• Quotation & Sales Cycle: Prepare accurate price quotations based on customer inquiries, manage the sales documentation, and conduct proactive follow-ups to close deals.

• Inventory Identification: Translate customer descriptions or samples into technical specifications to ensure the correct part is pulled from stock.

• Operational Excellence: Maintain a professional and organized counter area while managing a dual-shift schedule to meet the demands of the construction industry.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Specific Industry Knowledge: Proven expertise in spare parts for Forklifts, Construction Equipment, JCB, and Caterpillar is mandatory.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in the spare parts field.

• Technical Proficiency: Must be an expert in using Parts Catalogs and identifying components from technical diagrams.

• Work Schedule: Ability to work a split shift ( 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM ) with one day off per week.

• Skills: Strong communication skills to handle diverse customer inquiries and the ability to manage the administrative side of sales (quotes/follow-ups).
