Job Description: Event Manager (Part-Time / Project-Based)

HAZZ Building Materials Trading LLC, a specialized supplier of industrial fencing, wire mesh, and construction solutions, is seeking a high-energy Event Manager. This role is not for a beginner; it is for a seasoned professional with a deep “black book” of UAE vendors and the tactical experience to execute high-stakes events independently.

While we are a building materials firm, our presence at major trade exhibitions (such as The Big 5 or index) and our private corporate launches requires world-class event coordination. You will have full autonomy to lead these projects, transforming technical requirements into seamless, memorable brand experiences. Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Leadership: Take total ownership of event planning, from initial thematic conceptualization to the final “lights out” on-site.

• Strategic Logistics: Manage complex floor plans, technical riders (AV/lighting), and high-level catering for corporate guests and industry stakeholders.

• Vendor Management: Leverage your existing UAE-based network of fabricators, printers, and caterers to secure premium services at competitive rates, often on tight deadlines.

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and implement contingency plans to ensure zero downtime during live events.

• On-Site Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for all site operations, including load-in/load-out and live-event troubleshooting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of solid event management experience within the UAE. You must have independently led at least 5+ large-scale events (e.g., major exhibitions, corporate galas, or high-end product launches).

• Portfolio: A demonstrable track record of past events is mandatory.

• Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills; ability to manage multiple vendors under pressure.

• Flexibility: This is a part-time/freelance role. We value results over “desk time,” allowing for a highly flexible working schedule.

• Commute: Must be able to reliably commute to Sharjah or Dubai for project meetings and site management.
