Key Responsibilities

IB DP Excellence: Deliver the English Language A (Language and Literature) curriculum for the Diploma Programme, ensuring students develop advanced analytical and communication skills.

Curriculum Integration: Successfully blend IB pedagogical practices with MoE requirements to create a cohesive, high-standard learning experience.

Student Mentorship: Foster “Learner Profile” attributes in students, encouraging them to be risk-takers, communicators, and reflective thinkers.

Innovation & Change Management: Actively contribute to the pilot phase of the school by designing creative resources and adapting to the evolving needs of a new educational model.

Relationship Management: Build strong, respectful partnerships with students, parents, and colleagues to support a culture of professional excellence.

Assessment & Reporting: Conduct rigorous internal and external assessments in line with IB DP standards, providing data-driven feedback to ensure student success.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in English.

Certification: A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.) and a UAE Ministry of Education Teaching License are mandatory.

Experience: At least 3+ years of teaching experience is required. Prior experience in International Baccalaureate (IB) schools is highly desirable.

Soft Skills: Proven leadership in classroom management, high emotional intelligence, and strong organizational skills.

Professionalism: Experience managing a full classroom for a complete academic year, with a focus on continuous improvement.
