TALENTMATE is recruiting an Engineering Manager on behalf of a global engineering heavyweight in Abu Dhabi. This is an elite leadership role designed for a veteran of the energy industry—someone who has spent over a quarter-century mastering the complexities of hydrocarbons and is now ready to govern the technical execution of ADNOC-scale projects.

As the Engineering Manager, you will be the bridge between conceptual design and physical reality. You will lead a multidisciplinary team (Process, Civil, Mechanical, E&I) to deliver FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detailed Engineering packages that are both technically flawless and commercially viable. In the context of “IT Services and Consulting,” this role also emphasizes the digital transformation of engineering, utilizing Integrated Project Execution (IPE) tools and Digital Twins to ensure that assets are optimized from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Multidisciplinary Leadership: Direct a high-performing engineering department, ensuring seamless integration between all technical disciplines for Onshore and Offshore projects.

• EPC Project Governance: Oversee the transition from FEED to Detailed Engineering, ensuring that the EPC contractor remains within scope, budget, and the critical path.

• ADNOC Standards Mastery: Serve as the technical custodian for ADNOC Technical Specifications (ATS), ensuring 100% compliance across all design deliverables.

• Digital Engineering Strategy: Integrate modern IT consulting practices into the engineering workflow, including 3D model-centric reviews, BIM, and the development of Digital Twins for operational readiness.

• Quality & Safety Assurance: Lead critical design reviews, including HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), HAZID (Hazard Identification), and SIL (Safety Integrity Level) assessments.

• Resource & Stakeholder Management: Manage engineering manpower, budget forecasting, and high-level interfaces with clients, government authorities, and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil preferred).

• Experience: Minimum 25+ years in the Oil & Gas sector.

• Leadership: Minimum 5+ years of specific experience as an Engineering Manager .

• Project Pedigree: Proven track record in FEED & Detail Engineering and large-scale EPC projects.

• Regional Expertise: Significant experience with ADNOC Projects and Middle Eastern regulatory frameworks.
