As a Field Engineer (Internal Title: FIELD ENG I – WLE), you will be the face of Baker Hughes at the rig site. You aren’t just observing; you are leading crews, deploying multi-million dollar technology, and solving complex mechanical and digital puzzles in real-time. This program is a fast-track to technical leadership, combining hands-on field operations with mentorship from global experts. Key Responsibilities

• Field Operations Leadership: Lead on-site crews in the installation, maintenance, and operation of specialized downhole tools and surface equipment.

• Technical Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges at the well site, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency for the client.

• Logistics & Documentation: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of equipment, including preparing outbound tools, documenting site performance, and managing inbound returns.

• Client Interface: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers on-site, providing data-driven insights and ensuring service excellence.

• Commercial Support: Contribute to tender processes by performing data analysis, providing cost estimates, and assisting with invoicing and project management.

• Continuous Learning: Participate in structured job shadowing and rotations to understand the full scope of Baker Hughes’ energy technology portfolio.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Nationality: UAE National (Mandatory).

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (all fields), Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Geosciences, or Chemistry.

• Graduation Timeline: Must have graduated within the last 36 months.

• Academic Standing: Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale).

• Skills: Strong numerical and data analysis abilities, leadership potential, and excellent English communication skills.

• Attributes: A passion for teamwork, critical thinking, and a “hands-on” approach to technical work.
