AKTECH INTEGRATED SYSTEMS INC. , a specialist in advanced security and communication solutions in Abu Dhabi, is looking for a versatile ELV / Electrical Engineer . This role is designed for a technical professional who can manage the full lifecycle of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems—from initial site surveys and CAD design to the final commissioning of high-end security networks.

As an ELV Engineer, you will be the technical heart of commercial and industrial projects. You will ensure that CCTV, access control, and structured cabling systems are not just installed, but integrated into a seamless, intelligent network. In a city like Abu Dhabi, where security standards (such as MCC/SIRA equivalents) are rigorous, your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues will be your greatest assets.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Drafting: Use AutoCAD to design comprehensive ELV layouts, including schematic diagrams for CCTV, Access Control, and Intercom systems.

• Installation & Configuration: Lead the on-site installation and software configuration of security devices, ensuring IP-based systems are correctly networked and secured.

• Site Surveys: Conduct thorough site assessments to determine optimal camera placements, cable routes, and hardware requirements.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults in security and communication systems, providing rapid engineering solutions to minimize downtime.

• Documentation: Prepare technical submittals, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and “as-built” drawings.

• Compliance: Ensure all installations meet industry standards and local Abu Dhabi regulations (eg, ADMCC standards for surveillance).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics , or a related field.

• Technical Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in ELV systems, specifically CCTV (IP-based) , Access Control (Biometric/RFID), and Structured Cabling (Cat6/Fiber Optics).

• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong grasp of Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE).

• Soft Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with clients and contractors.

• Local Market: Familiarity with Abu Dhabi’s specific security and electrical regulations is a major plus.
