In this role, you will be the technical lead for high-stakes website solutions that demand the flexibility of Drupal and the enterprise-grade reliability of the Acquia Cloud. Your mission is to bridge the gap between traditional web development and modern cloud-native architectures. You will manage complex site-building projects while ensuring seamless integration with Azure services and .NET backend environments. Your Technical & Strategic Mission

Enterprise CMS & Acquia Management

• Drupal Excellence: Lead the implementation, management, and customization of Drupal-based solutions, focusing on custom module development and complex theming.

• Acquia Mastery: Utilize the Acquia Cloud Platform (Acquia Insight, Cloud IDE, and Site Studio) to manage deployments, optimize performance, and ensure 99.9% uptime.

• PHP Engineering: Write clean, high-performance PHP code that adheres to Drupal’s coding standards and security best practices.

Azure Cloud & .NET Integration

• Cloud Orchestration: Deploy and manage Drupal instances within Microsoft Azure, leveraging Azure Database for MySQL and Azure Files for persistent storage.

• Hybrid Solutions: Architect integrations between Drupal frontends and .NET backends, using RESTful APIs or Azure Logic Apps to sync data across enterprise systems.

• Security & Identity: Implement Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for Single Sign-On (SSO) and utilize Azure Key Vault to manage sensitive application secrets and encryption keys.

Project Leadership & Quality

• Proactive Management: Take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from initial technical scoping to final security hardening and launch.

• Performance Tuning: Monitor site health using New Relic (standard in Acquia) and Azure Monitor to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the rendering pipeline.

• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a technical consultant, translating complex cloud requirements into clear roadmaps for both internal teams and clients.

What You Bring to Digital Qube

• The Expertise: Proven experience in building and scaling Drupal 9/10 applications within an Acquia environment.

• Cloud Proficiency: Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, or VMs) and .NET framework basics for cross-platform integration.

• Language Stack: Mastery of PHP and SQL, with a solid understanding of C# for collaborative work with .NET teams.

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly preferred.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on proactive project updates and documentation.
